Corabia Panoramic Paltinei sits on a green hillside in the Apuseni Mountains, above a forested valley. From the terraces and balconies you can see the mountain ridges far into the distance – mist in the valley in the morning, sunset over the hills in the evening.
The chalet is made for families and groups of friends who want to spend time together: a large living room with a fully equipped kitchen, bright bedrooms, a gazebo with a barbecue and an outdoor hot tub under the open sky.

The road to the chalet – please read before you set off
Warning: Google Maps sends you the wrong way!
On the last stretch, Google Maps suggests a road that does not lead properly to the chalet. We recommend Waze, which takes you the right way. If you do use Google Maps, follow the directions below from Uzina Someșu Rece.
The correct route, step by step
- From Cluj-Napoca, take the DN1 (E60) west to Gilău.
- In Gilău, turn left onto the DJ107P towards Someșu Rece and drive through the village.
- Continue on the DJ107S up the Someșu Rece valley as far as Uzina Someșu Rece (the hydropower plant).
- Right at the plant, turn LEFT onto the road that climbs uphill (marked in blue on the map). This is where Google sends you a different way – don't follow it!
- Follow this road for about 4.5 km (around 15 minutes) up to Corabia Panoramic Paltinei.
